Course Overview | ||
This course will provide you with a basic understanding of installing and configuring Microsoft Windows Active Directory which is fundamental to system administration and securing data and applications in a corporate network.
You will practice installing an Active Directory domain including the pre-requisites and post installation configuration. You will learn about the concepts of AD objects and their integration and co-dependency. Once the AD is installed you will practice connecting to the domain and running commands, performing administrative functions and basic troubleshooting. The course is informal and allows time for questions and scenarios to be examined in detail within the class environment. |

The course is aimed at new System Administrators who have little experience of Active Directory domains and Windows Server in general. People who have an interest in the subject or are planning a career in IT will find the course useful if they do not have prior knowledge of the subject matter. | ||
